Q. Where are you located?
A. Allied Studios is headquartered in Big Bear Lake, California, USA. We are a virtual studio and work with clients and artists from around the world. We have been in business since 2002 and have contributed to more than 50 video games.
Q. How much do you charge?
A. We charge a flat-rate for each individual art asset. Prices are determined by how much, and what kind of art you need created. The total cost for us to design and develop all of the art for a casual game is typically $5,000 to $50,000 USD depending on the scope of the project. If you only need individual assets it may be less. Our project minimum is $1,000 USD.
Q. Do you charge a deposit?
A. Yes, for projects under $10,000 we charge 50% upfront and 50% upon completion. For projects costing more than $10,000 we divide the project into individual jobs and set up a milestone based delivery and payment schedule.
Q. What rights will I get to the artwork?
A. You will get exclusive copyrights to publish the work in the product for which it was designed. We reserve the right to display the work in our portfolio and on our websites for the purpose of promoting our services. Additional rights may be licensed from us if you require them.
Q. What if I need revisions to the artwork?
A. We will work with you until you are completely satisfied with your artwork. A certain number of revisions are included free with each job and will be included in your price quote. If you need additional revisions beyond what is included, we will be happy to perform them at a rate of $45 per hour.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. For customers within the United States we accept payment by check, money order or wire transfer. For international customers we accept payment by wire transfer only. We do not accept Paypal.
Q. How quickly can you start on my project?
A. That depends on our current workload and availability. In many cases, we can start on your project right away once the signed contract and deposit are received. The best way to find out is to submit a quote request below.
